My main aim is bridging the gap between the Virtual and the real world sport of the Olympic sport of Table Tennis. I hope to ignite the sparc of real life table tennis in the myriad of players that enjoy the game in VR and I work to bring more and more real life table tennis players into VR. To achieve this I help VR players train in a constructive way that aplies to both realities and I introduce real life players to the potential of training in VR.

I am open to conversations and panels about VR in general, VR esports and real life sports in VR and I have built up quite a bit of experience commenting on live matches, so make sure to reach out in case my experience could help you out in those fields.

In 2021 I worked together with For Fun Labs, the creators of ELEVEN Table Tennis to create videos for my own and their official youtube channel. And I still support them where I can while looking forward to the next stage in development of the game.

TABLE TENNIS BACKGROUND

I have over 30 years of experience with the sport of table tennis. Over the years I have studied and enjoyed a lot of different training methods. I started out at the age of six at the local club right behind my parents house where I was taught all the basics by national level coaches. At age 23 I lived in Lisbon for a while and got the opportunity to train with coaches Franscisco Santos and Chen Shi Chao both international level coaches.

In Barcelona I have sporadically indulged in training sessions with local coaches Long and Ramon Cliville.

I have 8+ years of experience in the 2nd national league in Spain as a player and coach.

Currently, I play for TTC Merelbeke in Belgium.
